008•366 • 2016 • dry leaf on concrete v2.0

One of the things you learn from previous 365's and 52's is to work with personal themes. Find something that works, and make images of that theme over and over and over.

The other advantage of personal themes is having “go to images”, when the day is busy and you need to make an image for day.

Today, I went to two of my go to themes. "…reflections of me" is a years old theme. "dry leaf..." is a 1 year old theme and today's winning exposure.

Processing Notes:

Lightroom 6 processing: Camera Standard profile > Matt K's HDR Light preset > Convert to B&W > Black and white clipping > Clarity > Crop > Highlights > Shadows > Exposure > Vignette > Exposure > Sharpening w/edge mask > spot removal > Adjustment brush on top of leaf to bring exposure down a bit > fine tune exposure and crop angle
