Brokeoff Mountain is Shawn's first ever summit! Here we are enjoying the view of Mt. Lassen. This is also our first peak as a married couple, a peak bagging couple we have become.

Notice the fire in the background, we were told this was a control burn due to the potential coming dry lightning strikes. The Chips fire in Plumas National Forest has been burning for days, fortunately it was clear of smoke in Lassen.
