Was invited to photograph this big fun event for @weaveinc

This is one of my favorite images and reminds me of my ongoing "Lost Soles" photo project. I particularly love the socked toes, camera right, foreground.

The Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event is a playful opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects, and remediations to men’s sexualized violence against women.

Why Walk?

It's bigger than the shoes.

This year will mark the 6th Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. We believe there is something magical about Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. It has changed how our entire region works collectively to build a community that does not tolerate domestic violence and sexual assault. It has raised more funds to ensure survivors have the resources they need to be safe and thrive.
