I love music and I love live performances...
Music photography has been my personal work off and on for many years. I've been attending shows since an early age, as my father was a professional musician most of his life. I also was a musician, playing guitar in several bands during the very early punk rock era.
I'm currently adding the many shows I've photographed throughout the years, old and new, big name bands and little known bands. Once again I find myself hitting bands up to be put on their "Pest List", to document the event with still photography. The better the access I have to your band during your show, the better and more diverse images I can create.
Recently I purchased the Nikon D700 DSLR body, with ISO possible up to 25,600 this camera performs exceptionally well in low light conditions found in night clubs and concert venues. Send me an email if you're interested in me photographing your band doug@dcphoto.com. If I like your music, am put on your "Pest List" and agree to photograph your show, I'll give your band a free license for up to 5 watermarked images to be used on your band web site and/or your myspace page (buying me a beer or two is always appreciated).
