I-5 LIVE! 19 March 2012
KCHO Chico, Ca

The radio show went very well, we talked about:
• My photo collaboration with This American Life, Adrianne of TAL was interviewed.

This American Life • Theme of the Week on... Flickr    Facebook

• My work with 911 for Kids

• My mentee work with Frank, who is in a wheelchair. He was on the show, it's powerful hearing him speak about overcoming obstacles as a disabled photographer, his activism in Sacramento for State Budget Rallies, how the budget cuts affect him personally and his hopes and plans for the future of his photo business.
Here’s a photo of Frank photographing a budget rally at the Capitol

• My work with FOCUS Film Festival, Mary Ann of Far Northern Regional Center called in to talk about “"FOCUS Film Festival explores documentary and narrative films which "focus" on and examine the complexity of the human experience: disability, culture, relationships, aging, lifestyle, and more.” (Utilikilts Website)

• Intellectual Property rights grabs by social media sites like Facebook for photos and videos, and steps you can take to help minimize this.

BE AWARE OF FACEBOOK'S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY T&C

Yes they can and will sale things you post on Facebook to 3rd party advertisers. I presume this is only for content that is publicly shared, but I'm not so sure and I'm sure they can change their T&C at anytime.

"For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (IP content), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Facebook (IP License). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it."
